East End Beach

This painting shows the joy of a summer day at the famous Eastend Beach on black sand in Taranaki, New Zealand. It features rock pools, safe swimming areas for families. The Sugar Loaf Islands and Paritutu Rock in the background. The painting was completed in the first year after Helen McLorinan arrived in New Plymouth in 2013.
