Mt Taranaki with Barbed Wire

The challenge for the artist was to use a monochrome color palette, completed in 2016, inspired by a photo taken by a friend on a summer day in Cardiff, Taranaki, New Zealand. The painting was created as a gift to the friend who had given the artist a heart-warming amount financially towards art supplies.
